Welcome

My name is Don Swinchoski and I live in Central New Jersey. I am a certified music teacher with over 25 years of experience. I have taught private lessons, small ensembles and conducted concert and jazz bands, orchestras and choruses for many years. I also have many years experience conducting and teaching music theory (including Advanced Placement Music Theory). I would like to facilitate your child's ability to take music lessons. Aside from the important things we have learned in recent years about the connecting between music study and brain development, music is also a lifelong source of enjoyment and entertainment.

As a parent myself, I know you are busy bringing your kids to many locations for games, practices, etc. while trying to juggle your own schedule. That is why I offer to travel to your house for music lessons. The only thing I ask is that an adult is present while the lesson is taking place.

Lessons are available on most instruments, conducting and music theory tutoring. If I am not able to accommodate you, I will find a teacher to fit your needs.
